Things to know before getting started and how to get onboarded to the platform as an agent.

Use of terms

In this document, the following terms are defined as:

  • Agent: Agent are intermediary that facilitates loan transactions between borrowers and the financial institutions on LENDA platform. These agents can assist in the verification of borrower information, the management of loan agreements, ensuring a smooth and secure lending process for both parties involved.

  • Facility: A loan facility is a credit agreement between the financial institution and an agent, designed to provide the agent with a specific amount of money that can be accessed, utilized, and repaid over an agreed period under specified conditions. This financial arrangement enables the agent to draw down, repay, and re-borrow funds according to their financial needs within the limits of the agreed terms.

  • Disbursement: This refers to a segment of the loan provided through the loan facility to an agent, intended for disbursal to a confirmed borrower via the LENDA platform.

Please note that these terms are used consistently throughout the document in accordance with their provided definitions.

Onboarding

To initiate your onboarding process on the LENDA platform, an administrator within the system is required to setup your agency profile. This profile setup is essential for granting access to the platform's functionalities.

Credentials

An administrator will reach out to you with your login credentials

  • Email address

  • First login password

Proceed to https://lenda.com.ng and login using the provided credentials.

The platform will require you to reset your password on the first login attempt, which allows you to personalise your password to what you’re comfortable with and secure.
